If you want to remove the bean hopper from the Macap M2M R but there are still espresso beans inside, you can push in the flat slider to cover the entire opening and then twist the bean hopper upwards. This can be beneficial if you want to clean the grinder or suspect a problem in the grinding mechanism. To clean the grinder, the bean hopper should be removed, and a dose of Pulygrind should be poured into the grinding mechanism. Then, the bean hopper is placed back. Grind out the Pulygrind crystals along with coffee until no more crystals come out of the grinding mechanism; a couple of portions are usually required.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe flat burrs, 50 mm in diameter, grind coffee at 1 g\/s. The main advantages of flat burrs are their long lifespan and short grinding times. The coffee grinder's grind setting can be adjusted steplessly using a knob.
