M7DZ WT Chrome
M7DZ WT Chrome is an on-demand coffee grinder with a built-in CPS Twist tamper from Macap and a digital timer for perfect dosing of freshly ground coffee every time. M7DZ WT has two grinding time programs, single/double, which can be adjusted with high precision using the stepless grind adjustment. M7DZ WT Chrome is easy to clean inside and out, so that the coffee grinder always looks good and the ground coffee always smells and tastes good. M7DZ WT Chrome is equipped with an easily accessible power switch for easy switching on and off.
The built-in CPS Twist tamper with its twist function perfectly mimics a barista's hand movement, which is perfect for cafes and restaurants. Not only does it shorten the process and save time, but it also ensures an even pressure. Without the twist movement, there is a risk that the coffee gets stuck on the underside of the tamper when pressing, but with the twist movement, this problem never comes up. For the barista who is constantly working, the built-in tamper becomes a huge aid that can save their hands from unnecessary pain from too much tamping. In addition, the built-in portafilter holder makes things significantly easier because you no longer always need to hold the filter holder, which weighs down the arm.
The coffee grinder's stylish and classic design makes the M7DZ WT Chrome look very good alongside a professional espresso machine, as the shape and design match and complement each other.
M7DZ WT Chrome has a large bean hopper, with room for 1400 g of espresso beans, which means that you can practically grind coffee for about 120 espressos per filled coffee grinder, although it is not recommended to fill the entire bean hopper. Only fill the grinder with an amount of coffee that you will consume in the near future (a few days), so that the coffee and its aromas are not unnecessarily exposed to oxygen.
The bean inlet on the M7DZ WT Chrome is adjusted with a flat plate that can easily be pulled away from or pushed against the grinder. If you want to remove the bean hopper from the M7DZ WT Chrome but there are still espresso beans inside, you can push in the flat plate so that it covers the entire opening and then turn the bean hopper upwards. This can be done for cleaning the grinder or if you suspect that a problem has occurred in the grinding mechanism. To clean the M7DZ WT Chrome, remove the bean hopper and pour a dose of Pulygrind into the grinding mechanism. Then place the bean hopper back in place. Grind out the Pulygrind crystals together with the coffee until no crystals come out of the grinding mechanism; a couple of doses usually suffice.
M7DZ WT Chrome is equipped with conical grinding discs with a circumference of 68 millimeters. Their conical design ensures easy cleaning, consistent results, and minimal waste of ground coffee. The coffee grinder's grind size can be adjusted steplessly using a knob. If you wish to make an adjustment, turn the knob a little at a time. If the M7DZ WT Chrome coffee grinder is reasonably well set, usually only a small change is needed. To check when the coffee grinder is correctly set, you can grind coffee for an espresso and then brew it. Keep trying until the espresso brews at the right pace in the right time.
What primarily sets Macap's coffee grinders apart is their production capacity. The M4D series is suitable for a smaller restaurant or a small cafe. The MXD series is just right for a normal cafe. The M7D series is the grinder that can handle all the demands required by a cafe with many guests.
