The Fausto Chrome from Rocket Espresso is a direct-grind espresso grinder with two adjustable programs and the option for manually controlled dosing. The new touch display simplifies programming and looks great too. A powerful 500 W motor provides fast and precise grinding, with a double espresso dose in approximately 10 seconds. Fausto is easy to clean both externally and internally, ensuring the coffee grinder always looks good and the ground coffee always smells and tastes great. Fausto Chrome is equipped with an easily accessible power switch for simple on and off operation.
Fausto Chrome has a medium-sized bean hopper, holding 600g of espresso beans, which means you can grind coffee for approximately 60 espressos per full grinder. The coffee grinder's stylish and classic design makes Fausto look great alongside a semi-pro espresso machine, as their design and form complement each other.
The intake of espresso beans on the Fausto Chrome is adjusted with a flat plate that can be easily pulled towards or away from the grinder. If you want to remove the bean hopper from Fausto but there are still espresso beans inside, you can push the flat plate in to completely cover the opening and then twist the bean hopper upwards. This can be advantageous if you want to clean the grinder or suspect a problem in the grinding mechanism. To clean Fausto, remove the bean hopper and pour a dose of Pulygrind into the grinding mechanism. Then replace the bean hopper. Grind out the Pulygrind crystals along with coffee until no more crystals come out of the grinding mechanism; a couple of portions are usually required.
Fausto Chrome is equipped with flat burrs made of tempered steel, 65 millimeters in diameter, which provide short grinding times and long durability for the burrs. The coffee grinder's grind fineness can be continuously adjusted with a knob. If adjustment is desired, turn the knob a little at a time. If the Fausto Chrome coffee grinder is set somewhat appropriately, only a small adjustment is usually needed. To check when the coffee grinder is correctly set, you can grind coffee for an espresso and then brew it. Experiment until the espresso brews at the right pace and time.
