1200 S, 2 grinders
1200 S is one of the smaller fully automatic coffee machines from the highly renowned brand WMF, truly showcasing what German engineering can achieve. With a capacity of 100 cups per day, the WMF 1200 S is tailor-made for small to medium-sized offices and businesses.
WMF's signature style is clearly visible in all their models, with their sleek and innovative design featuring easily accessible covers for both the grounds container and cleaning. The attractive and compact design means that WMF's entire model range fits into all types of environments. The 1200 S is equipped with pressure-sensitive buttons where you can easily make your choice of drink. The spout is height-adjustable to easily adapt to whichever cup you choose to use, and with the dual outlet, you can serve 2 cups at a time.
The WMF 1200 S comes as standard with 2 bean containers, one for whole bean espresso and the other for whole bean filter coffee. This leads to a better taste experience as espresso beans and filter coffee beans have different characteristics. Both bean containers have their own grinder with separate grind settings, all to achieve the best taste in the coffee.
For the WMF 1200 S, a milk cooler is used, where you can set its frothing amount and temperature via the menu.
One of the most important parts of a machine is, of course, the brewing unit, which together with the grinder setting sets the tone for how the coffee will taste. The 1200 S has a brewing unit made of high-quality plastic that is heated with an extra element to maintain the correct temperature during brewing.
In addition to handling the general maintenance of the machine during the day, which includes emptying the grounds drawer, wiping down the machine, and refilling with products, the WMF 1200S should undergo a cleaning program every day.
The cleaning process takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, and what is cleaned is both the milk system and the brewing unit. With WMF's Plug+Clean technology, you easily clean the milk system without cleaning agents, and with a cleaning tablet in the dispenser, the machine takes care of cleaning the brewing unit.
