Monteriva Te Assam Chai

Assam Chai is a large-leaf Assam tea from the Assam region in northeastern India. Assam Chai contains cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, and mustard seeds to create a strong, spicy tea traditionally drunk with hot milk.

To create a chai latte, start by brewing a small portion of chai tea. While it brews, froth or heat a similar amount of milk in a saucepan. Strain the tea or remove the tea infuser and mix in a little honey or sugar to your desired sweetness level. Then pour in the hot milk. Top the chai latte with a little sifted cinnamon or cardamom if you like and enjoy your homemade masterpiece!
