MXD Xtreme is an on-demand coffee grinder from Macap with a digital timer for perfect dosing of freshly ground coffee every time. MXD Xtreme has two grinding time programs, single/double, which can be adjusted with high precision using the steplessly adjustable grind setting. You can easily reprogram the times. MXD Xtreme is the latest model in the series of on-demand coffee grinders from Macap. It is equipped with titanium-coated burrs that provide short grinding times and a longer lifespan for the burrs.

MXD Xtreme has a large bean hopper, with room for 1400 g of espresso beans, which means you can grind coffee for approximately 120 espressos per filled coffee grinder. The coffee grinder's stylish and classic design makes the MXD Xtreme look very good alongside a professional espresso machine, as the shape and design match and complement each other.

The bean inlet on the MXD Xtreme is adjusted with a flat tray that can easily be pulled away from or pushed against the grinder. If you want to remove the bean hopper from the MXD Xtreme but there are still espresso beans left inside, you can push the flat tray in so that it covers the entire opening and then twist the bean hopper upwards. This is particularly useful if you want to clean the grinder or suspect that a problem has occurred in the grinding mechanism. To clean the MXD Xtreme, the bean hopper should be removed and a dose of Pulygrind should be poured into the grinding mechanism. After that, the bean hopper is placed back in position. Grind out the Pulygrind crystals together with coffee until no crystals come out of the grinding mechanism; a couple of doses usually suffice.

The coffee grinder's grind setting can be adjusted steplessly using a knob. If you wish to make an adjustment, turn the knob a little at a time. If the MXD Xtreme coffee grinder is reasonably well set, usually only a small change is needed. To check when the coffee grinder is correctly set, you can grind coffee for an espresso and then brew it. Keep trying until the espresso is brewed at the right pace in the right time.

The difference between the Macap MXD and the Macap MXD Xtreme is the burrs. The MXD has steel burrs while the MXD Xtreme has titanium-coated burrs. This difference affects the grinding time. The MXD grinds a double dose in 6 seconds while the MXD Xtreme grinds in 4 seconds. The titanium burrs also have a longer lifespan.

What primarily distinguishes Macap's coffee grinders is their production capacity. The M4D is suitable for a smaller restaurant or a small café. The MXD is just right for a normal café. The M7D is the grinder that can handle all the requirements of a café with many guests.
