Steel Uno Black

The Steel Uno Black from Spanish Ascaso is a robust, handmade espresso machine for home use. With its high capacity thanks to the aluminum and stainless steel thermoblock, the Steel Uno Black can handle everything from one or two lattes each morning to larger dinner parties with several final espressos. The thermoblock guarantees temperature stability and quality, cup after cup all day long.

Ascaso's Steel Uno Black is equipped with a convenient 2-liter water tank that can easily be removed for cleaning. The water tank can be refilled while the machine is switched on. Water circulates through a stainless steel pipe, which reduces potential limescale buildup to a minimum. This makes the Steel Uno Black very suitable for areas with hard water, and by placing a water filter in the water tank, limescale can be kept away entirely.

Frothing milk is rarely easier than with the Steel Uno Black's steam wand, which can be rotated almost in any direction. The steam wand is equipped with a silicone guard that is easy to hold while adjusting the angle when frothing milk. Made of stainless steel for the easiest possible cleaning, use a damp latte cloth immediately after frothing milk and clean with milk cleaner a few times a month.

A stainless steel drip tray is not only aesthetically pleasing, it is also very practical. The choice of material makes it easy for the barista to wipe the surface, and the pull-out tray is easy to lift to a nearby sink for emptying. The Steel Uno Black from Ascaso is equipped with a cup warmer that ensures every cup is warm enough so that the aromas of the espresso do not disappear as it fills the cup.

To turn on the espresso machine and its various functions, there are power and function buttons that highlight the industrial design. Blue LED lights are built into the buttons to indicate whether the function is switched on or off. There is also lighting between the brew group and the steam wand so that you can see what you are doing in all conditions. Stylish design and professional technology make the Steel Uno Black an excellent espresso machine for any kitchen.

A minimalist 57 mm Tam-Tamper in aluminum is included for tamping the coffee.
