The Dream One is an espresso machine designed by Marc Aranyó for Barcelona-based Ascaso. The espresso machine has been updated since its predecessor "Dream" with new features and technological upgrades.

The new energy-saving mode activates automatically after a period of inactivity, and it takes a couple of minutes to start the machine once this mode is on. The machine exits this mode when you flick the espresso brewing switch. You just need to start it and then immediately turn it off, and then the machine will start to heat up.

The filter holder is now made very robustly with good materials. 6 different 60 mm filter baskets are included. These include baskets for both single and double espresso, all of which fit into the included double handle. This means you can also brew a single espresso in a double handle. A single handle can be purchased separately if preferred.

The espresso machine heats the water in a stainless steel tube that passes through an aluminum thermoblock. The stainless steel tube prevents limescale buildup. We always recommend using a limescale filter in the water tank to prevent limescale buildup and thus counteract limescale-related service issues. The coffee also tastes significantly better if the limescale is filtered out.
