The M2M R Black is a small but robust coffee grinder from Macap, made of chromed metal. Micrometric grinding adjustment allows for precise grinding. The height-adjustable portafilter support is made of durable metal encased in rubber for efficient use and gentle handling of the portafilter. The switch lever for engaging grinding also functions as a portafilter holder, meaning you don't need to hold the portafilter while grinding. The coffee grinder is very easy to use – it grinds as long as the portafilter keeps the switch pressed. The Macap M2M R is easy to clean both externally and internally, ensuring the coffee grinder always looks good and the ground coffee always smells and tastes great. The M2M R Black is equipped with an easily accessible power switch for simple on and off operation.

The M2M R Black has a relatively small bean hopper, with space for 250g of espresso beans, which means you can grind coffee for approximately 25 espressos per full grinder. An advantage of a smaller bean hopper is that it takes up less space. The coffee grinder's stylish and classic design combined with the black finish means the M2M R Black fits into any kitchen.

The intake of espresso beans on the Macap M2M R is adjusted with a flat slider that can be easily pushed towards or away from the grinder. If you want to remove the bean hopper from the Macap M2M R but there are still espresso beans inside, you can push in the flat slider to cover the entire opening and then twist the bean hopper upwards. This can be beneficial if you want to clean the grinder or suspect a problem in the grinding mechanism. To clean the grinder, the bean hopper should be removed, and a dose of Pulygrind should be poured into the grinding mechanism. Then, the bean hopper is placed back. Grind out the Pulygrind crystals along with coffee until no more crystals come out of the grinding mechanism; a couple of portions are usually required.

The flat burrs, 50 mm in diameter, grind coffee at 1 g/s. The main advantages of flat burrs are their long lifespan and short grinding times. The coffee grinder's grind setting can be adjusted steplessly using a knob. If adjustment is desired, turn the knob a little at a time. If the M2M R Black coffee grinder is reasonably well-adjusted, only a small change is usually needed. To check when the coffee grinder is correctly set, you can grind coffee for an espresso and then brew it. Experiment until the espresso brews at the right pace and time.
