The MXD Xtreme Black is an on-demand coffee grinder from Macap with a digital timer for perfect dosing of freshly ground coffee every time. The MXD Xtreme Black has two programs for grinding times, single/double, which are adjusted with high accuracy using the steplessly adjustable grind fineness. You can easily reprogram the times. The MXD Xtreme Black is the latest model in the series of on-demand coffee grinders from Macap. It is equipped with titanium-coated grinding burrs, which provide short grinding times and longer durability of the burrs.

The MXD Xtreme Black has a large bean hopper, with space for 1400 g of espresso beans, which means you can grind coffee for approximately 120 espressos per full grinder. The grinder's stylish and classic design makes the MXD Xtreme Black look very good alongside a professional espresso machine, as their design and form complement each other.

The espresso bean inlet on the MXD Xtreme Black is adjusted with a flat tray that can be easily pulled towards or away from the grinder. If you want to remove the bean hopper from the MXD Xtreme Black but there are still espresso beans inside, you can push in the flat tray to cover the entire opening and then twist the bean hopper upwards. This can be beneficial if you want to clean the grinder or suspect a problem in the grinding mechanism. To clean the MXD Xtreme Black, the bean hopper should be removed, and a dose of Pulygrind should be poured into the grinding mechanism. Then, the bean hopper is placed back in position. Grind out the Pulygrind crystals along with coffee until no crystals come out of the grinding mechanism; a couple of portions are usually required.

The grinder's fineness can be steplessly adjusted using a knob. If you wish to adjust, turn the knob a little at a time. If the MXD Xtreme Black coffee grinder is reasonably well set, only a small adjustment is usually needed. To check when the coffee grinder is correctly set, you can grind coffee for an espresso and then brew it. Experiment until the espresso brews at the right pace and time.

The difference between Macap MXD and Macap MXD Xtreme is the grinding burrs. The MXD has steel grinding burrs, while the MXD Xtreme has titanium-coated grinding burrs. This difference affects grinding time. The MXD grinds a double dose in 6 seconds, while the MXD Xtreme grinds in 4 seconds. The titanium grinding burrs also have longer durability.
