The MI20 Touch is an on-demand coffee grinder from Macap with a colorful 3.5" touch display that allows for 4 programs/time settings as well as a manual mode that counts up. This makes it possible to get a perfect dose of freshly ground coffee every time. The MI20 Touch grinds 2 - 2.6 grams of coffee per second, making it well-suited for stressful situations. The Macap MI20 Touch is equipped with an easily accessible power switch to the right of the outlet for simple on and off.

The MI20 Touch has a medium-sized bean hopper, with space for 500g of espresso beans, which means that in practice you can grind coffee for approximately 50 espressos per filled grinder, however, it is not recommended to fill the entire bean hopper. Only fill the grinder with an amount of coffee that you will consume in the near future (a few days), so that the coffee and its aromas are not unnecessarily oxidized.

The stylish design of the MI 20 Touch makes it a perfect fit next to any type of espresso machine. The chrome-plated metal matches well with all chrome-plated espresso machines. The MI20 Touch has a built-in LED light directed down into the filter, making it easier to set the grind size. The MI20 Touch has built-in support for the filter holder so you can let it hang on the grinder. The support is height-adjustable so you can choose the perfect angle for how the coffee powder fills the filter.

The intake of espresso beans on the MI20 Touch is adjusted with a flat slider that can be easily pulled to or from the grinder. If you want to remove the bean hopper from the Macap MI20 Touch but there are still espresso beans inside, you can push the flat slider to cover the entire opening and then twist the bean hopper upwards. This can be done if you want to clean the grinder or suspect that a problem has occurred in the grinding mechanism.

To clean the MI20 Touch, remove the bean hopper and pour a dose of Pulygrind into the grinding mechanism. Then replace the bean hopper. Grind out the Pulygrind crystals along with coffee until no crystals come out of the grinding mechanism, a couple of portions are usually required. Cleaning should be done approximately once a month, but this, of course, depends on how much the grinder is used.

The MI20 Touch is equipped with 58 millimeter flat burrs that provide short grinding times and long durability. The coffee grinder's grind size can be steplessly adjusted using a knob located at the neck of the grinder. Access to the knob is available from both the right and left on the front and back. If you want to adjust, turn the knob a little at a time. Turning clockwise will result in a coarser grind, and turning counter-clockwise will result in a finer grind. Keep in mind that the more arabica you have in your coffee blend, the finer you usually want the coffee ground to achieve the best possible result. Conversely, the opposite applies to robusta. If the Macap MI20 Touch coffee grinder is reasonably well adjusted, only a small change is usually needed. To check when the coffee grinder is correctly set, you can grind coffee for an espresso and then brew it. Experiment until the espresso brews at a suitable pace and time, 25 milliliters in 25 seconds is the target.

Time setting is done on the touch display. In addition to the four adjustable times, there is a manual mode that counts up the time. Furthermore, the grinder offers several operating modes so that it can be fully adapted to your working method.
