R Cinquantotto/Serie Grigia - Slate grey (RAL7015)

Rocket Espresso R Cinquantotto Heritage Serie Grigia is a limited edition series, designed to celebrate Pantone® Color of the Year 2021, PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray. Slate Grey has the RAL code 7015, a glossy finish, brass trim and classic round feet.

R Cinquantotto is a semi-professional espresso machine with dual isolated boilers. R Cinquantotto is an update of the predecessor R58. The design has changed quite a bit and the touch-screen remote control is now easier to use.

With separate brass boilers, the brewing temperature is completely independent of steam and hot water draw. This also means that the temperature can be increased on the steam boiler for best pressure when frothing without affecting the brewing result. The temperatures in both boilers are electronically controlled (PID) for maximum accuracy.

Settings on the R Cinquantotto are made on the included touch-screen remote control. The remote control only needs to be connected via USB when parameters need to be changed.

Water can be taken from the built-in 2.5-liter fresh water tank or it can be connected to a direct water connection. The drip tray on the R Cinquantotto can optionally be connected to a drain connection or emptied manually.

Brewing and filling are powered by a rotary pump which is the most commonly occurring pump in professional machines. The brewing pressure can be regulated with a screw on the pump which is accessible under the machine.

The updated design is sleek with clearly straight lines that easily curve into corners which gives a really nice overall look. The feet have received a new design in a triangular spirit that proudly lifts up this piece of art.

Another novelty is the integrated shot timer that is visible above the on/off button. This can advantageously be used to ensure the correct brewing time for your espresso - 25 milliliters in 25 seconds.

Included with the R Cinquantotto is a metal screen, a single handle, a double handle, an aluminum tamper, a cleaning brush, a blind filter, a microfiber cloth and cleaning powder.

We recommend seeing the machines live before purchase, as colors can be perceived differently in pictures and in reality.
